Living in the mountain loft Privà

This holiday home was originally a stable typical for the region which has been rebuilt in 2017 into the mountain loft Privà. Experience the contrast between old and new, the charming original wooden constructure, mixed with modern elements and materials. Become attached to the caring details and simply feel well. Recapitulate your day in the spacious living area with fire place. The top modern kitchen offers all you need for cuisine creations and the dining area invites you to sit down at table. Relax after an active day by taking a shower or a bath and allow yourself regenerative moments in the sauna. Three bedrooms and four beds in the dormitory in the open space above the living room are available. • Situated in the heart of the village, 50 m post van stop, 5 minutes by car to Vella (ski region Obersaxen), 15 minutes to Ilanz, 20 minutes to the ski region Flims-Laax-Falera, cross-country skiing 100 m, Volg-Shop in Vella, Restaurants in Vella and surrounding villages
• Domestic animals are NOT allowed, snow shoveling by the guests
• The holiday home is not suitable for small children 

Bedroom

• 3 bedrooms on the ground floor: 1 bedroom with double bed and a two door wardrobe, 2 bedrooms with each 2 single beds and a two door wardrobe 
• 1 dormitory (open): 4 single beds standing side by side with a shelf for clothes

Bathroom

• 2 bathrooms on the ground floor: 1 bathroom disposes of a Sauna, bathtub, rain shower, toilet and sink 
• the other bathroom disposes of a rain shower, toilet and sink

Living room

• An open living room with kitchen and dining area on the first floor 
• There is a fire place in the living area (wood has to be provided by the guests), dining table with 10 chairs, lounge, small table, 2 armchairs, Flatscreen-TV and south-west facing terrace

Kitchen

The kitchen is completely equipped and disposes of a ceramic stove top, oven, big refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, Nescafé Dolce Gusto-coffee machine (capsules may be purchased at the VOLG-shop in Vella), Raclette and Fondue-Caquelon.

Interior fitting

The house has been finished beginning of 2018 and is decorated in modern mountain chic style. Beside the original wooden beams, there are new light wooden ceilings, ceramic floors, floor heating, big picture windows

Prices

• 7 Nights minimum stay during high season (arrival and departure on Saturdays)
• 3 Nights minimum stay during low season (arrival and departure according to availability, no arrival/departure on Sundays)

• Prices subject to be changed

Remarks

• Winter high season: December (from Christmas) / January / February / March / April (until Easter)
• Summer high season: July / August / October (holiday season)
• Low season: April / May / June / September / October (outside holiday season) / November / December

Arrival/Departure

• Arrival: available from 5 pm on arrival day
• Departure: latest 10 am on departure day

Payment conditions

• the whole booking sum has to be fully paid up prior to arrival and is necessary to activate entrance code
• the initial payment of 50% has to be immediately effected upon receipt of booking confirmation and invoice

• the outstanding payment as well as the deposit have to be fully paid up 30 days prior to arrival date

• the deposit of CHF 400.00 will be paid back within three weeks after departure if final control has been found to be satisfactory

Annulation conditions

• cancellation and changes up to 42 days prior to arrival date: CHF 100.00 handling fee
• cancellation up to 15 days prior to arrival date: 50% of the whole booking price
• cancellation up to 3 days prior to arrival date: 80% of the whole booking price
• cancellations which will reach us too late or no-show: 100 % of the booking price

Architecture

The mountain loft Privà has been an unused stable, which has been reconstructed by STAUFFACHER AEMISEGGER architekten in 2017. An airy log cabin built upon raw stone foundations. Behind the timber logs, there are large windows. During its conversion, a wooden frame construction was fitted into the old stable. The large windows in this inner frame allow plenty of light to flood the rooms, filtered through the timber beams of the outer façade and creating a wonderful interplay of light and shade. The original wooden beams have also been preserved indoors. They ensure a cosy, rustic atmosphere and provide a structure to each room.
